Chubba — that's me.

And it all started with a joke my uncle used to tell.

One day, my uncle was telling a joke. He grabbed his face, pressed his cheeks forward, and said:

"Hi, my name's Chubba…
My momma's chubba…
My daddy's chubba…
And even my little brother's chubba.
One day they asked me,
'Chubba, why you so chubba?'"

And at that moment, he pulled his cheeks back and said:

"I AIN'T CHUBBA… SEE?!"

Man, it was funny for sure. The way he pulled his face back had everyone cracking up.

Then he asked me to do it.

And when I did? Everyone thought it was even funnier — because my cheeks were chubbier than his.

That's when the name stuck.

Friends called me Chubba.
Teachers called me Chubba.
Family called me Chubba.
If you knew me… you knew CHUBBA.

It wasn't just a nickname —
it was a whole vibe, a whole era of my life.
Chubba Time.

The Comeback

Years later, I'm getting ready for a vacation and hardly anyone remembers the old nickname anymore. So I make myself a tank top that says CHUBBA GEAR… just for fun.

But when I saw it?
When I put it on?
Something clicked.

Those were some of the best years of my life — full of energy, confidence, fun, and identity. And I realized:

The world needs a little more Chubba.

So I decided to bring it back.
Not just the name —
